    Losses Outside of Irvine

Agreed no_vaseline. But others might pay slightly more. I'd easily rather pay 200k for Lake Forest than 120k for even Corona and deal with the heat and the 91.

Sure there is. If IE is 120k.

I'd seriously consider at 200k. It's close, definitely moving in the right direction. It should move around it's asking price if it's in good shape. It loses value due to it's commuter status. If you worked in south Irvine it would be more attractive though.

No thanks. 150k would be the time to buy.

Wow, $280,000 for a 3/1.5 SFR? Prices are starting to get closer to reasonable.

Citibank is the only card I have I'm unhappy with. Their rates suck and they send me balance transfer checks literally 3 times a week. I have a Chase Freedom card and like it very much. 3% for gas, fast food, and groceries. 1% for everything else.

Presidential Candidate Thread: Is Ron Paul good for the country?

I don't think voting for him in the primaries is a wasted vote at all. He seems to be the only candidate actually espousing conservative values.

Presidential Candidate Thread: Is Ron Paul good for the country?

The problem I've read about revoking birthright citizenship is that it's possible it leaves the child as a citizen of no country. Since they are not born in their parents' source of origin, that country is not required to grant citizenship. It's troubling for Paul to state that he would...

Presidential Candidate Thread: Is Ron Paul good for the country?

I've read that one of the main problems with Social Security isn't it's solvency in and of itself, but that the politicians keep raiding it's coffers for other budgetary concerns. If we stopped accounting for 50% of the world's defense spending I think it would be surprising what we could...

Presidential Candidate Thread: Is Ron Paul good for the country?

Anyway, I've said what I wanted to say about all that. Back to the original question, although there are so many things I feel very strongly about that he seems to oppose, I can't deny he's the only candidate that genuinely cares about the economy.

Presidential Candidate Thread: Is Ron Paul good for the country?

"Choose" is the relevant word awgee. How many would "choose" not to be greedy and self-centered? Heck, to be perfectly fair, how many would normally want to help but simply can't afford it because their freed up money is now making ends meet? No program is perfect, but if you asked your...

Presidential Candidate Thread: Is Ron Paul good for the country?

I think it's all relevant. He asked if we thought Ron Paul is good for the country. Just stating reasons why he is or isn't.

    A Trip to Woodbury

Yeah, I have a friend that I talked to about his Irvine condo in detail around April. I made sure he knew what the market forecasts for real estate were going to be because I don't want to see him get screwed on his deal. After that I won't bring it up unless he does. I said what I...
