I was able to pull the middle pin out of the middle hinge using plyers. The bottom hinge however I was unable to pull out since it is really stuck in there and the position of the hinge makes it hard to have leverage. I just left one pin in and it is better than with all in.

So which one is more preferred for Irvine homeowners? The WHF (Whole House Fan) or the AF (Attic Fan)? I need some homes and trees around me to block some of this brutal sun. Leaving windows open just lets in more hot air. Keeping windows closed and you still bake. :(

There is a lock on the door from the garage to the inside of your home. So that is a deterrent. I want to also get bluetooth locks haha. Maybe hook up a hidden camera in your garage to monitor things?

Bugs in Irvine are small enough where they can get through the screen when lights are on inside. I see some neighbors with no screens, lights on, and balcony doors wide open. I wonder if they get eaten alive?

Word. I don't like the idea of having a subscription based fee program. At most I would try to stretch it out by quarters. I will try this cheaper alternative first. If that doesn't work then maybe I'll go with Century. :P
