I think we should look at the 2 policies. One is raising tax to stimulate the economy and one is to raise spending. I too grew up during the Carter year, voted for Reagan and never voted for any Democrat again. I don't always vote for Republican party though.

I kind of agree with Nancy. My family came here with practically zero money, we had to leave the old country in a very short time. The only luck we had was landed in OC where jobs were plentiful. My relatives and myselfs all had to work in low paying jobs that we would never have thought of...
