I just heard from someone in the French Park neighborhood in Santa Ana. They counted over 900 trick or treaters on Saturday. I believe it because I was there one year with my husband before we were married. We didn't count, but I knew it was over 500 kids.

Just merely take into account the increase in sales tax and that is enough right there to argue that cost of living has increased. This is not even considering the obvious increases to medical expenses, using Medicare or not. It is unbelievable to me that anyone can argue that cost of living...
