Did most of you choose any upgrades in the 2010 collection?

Sorry couldn't help here.  We didn't have the option to change any of the outlets.  Later phases should have that option.

    Wiring Hub

Thanks for sharing.  I have always wondered about how that Microcell would work.  How much was it if you don't mind me asking?

What city would you live in other than Irvine?

I picked Other.  Tustin Ranch came close however, it's priced almost like Irvine.  I am staying in Irvine.

Totally agree with you.  To answer your question as to what changed?  IHO said it, Greed and Demand and both are going higher.  Though I wouldn't say it's greed rather than what every other corporation in the America tries to do, maximize profit.  Unlike Apple, they actually think about their...

Great question Pat Star.  I was posting at the same time you post the question.  What I was saying kind of align with what you mentioned about this new "Urban" planning. I thought of the cities in Northern Cal.  There is a good distinction between the city and suburbs.  I don't know what Irvine...

How about modernization of the suburbs?  Just a theory and you may not see it or agree, but think with me for a second.  As technology keeps on changing people's lives, the things that we are doing are completely different.  We are on the internet blogging, social networking, and all kinds of...

    3-Story Homes

I second momopi.  Two story is good for me but if I can get the 3rd story as a man clave, I am down.

They look like row homes as well.  Similar to the Bougainvillas and the Cachettes of the world.  Another floor plan where the fireplace is in the center of the great room.  No TV wall again!!!

Montecito / Sonoma / Carmel Pricing

And you would be going from a 1800 SQFT to 2300 SQFT.  Still you would have to get rid of stuff.  How funny is that.  Had Sonoma plan 1 include at least a den, all other Sonoma resident may get a bump in value because of IHO premium.

    Primrose at Portola Springs

Saw these over the weekend.  couples of things that I noticed, even thought they do have a TV wall but the furnishing of the great room is not so good except for plan 2.  Not that it's a big deal, but I didn't notice any microwave in the kitchen.  Overall, I actually like plan 2 a bit more than...

    Who bought the 2010 home?

Wait!!!  That sounds so familiar.  Ah, that actually happened at PrimRose in PS.  Right IHO? BTW, props to your wife.  We didn't notice the corners of all walls at all.  Yes, Montecito's corners are round instead of sharp corners.

The new iPhone 4 is HAWT!

Yeah, I was actually following the press conference play by play.  It's definitely interesting.  Yes I too believe it's overblown just because it's Apple and they are the biggest target. The black square in the middle of my white travertine is called "Designers" style.  I would love to have...

Irvine OKs 6,000 homes in city's urban core

Traffic is gonna suck.  The number 6000 seems a lot!!!  Remember BK said there are about 4200 resident including apartments in Woodbury?  That's a lot too right? But it sure doesn't feel that way when I walk around in Woodbury.

    Primrose at Portola Springs

Experienced both type of homes and yes, entering from the alley load garage is definitely less social.  However, with the motorcourt setup, I definitely feel that if I am standing at the entrance I am way too close to "traffic".  Like I have to get out of the way when cars are pulling in. As...

Supplemental tax bill 2010 Home Woodbury

We are the first group of people moved in but still have not received it yet.  Here is an add on question, we just got the home owner's exemption form but it's asking for social security number.  Do that sound right?  I had to do one before for our previous home, but can't remember what we did. ...

    Primrose at Portola Springs

How about the motorcourt with no drive way vs alley load garage?  This is more of a fair preference comparison right?  In this case I would prefer alley load garage.  The complain about motorcourt is the execution of the front door and it's presences.  Having a driveway makes it a little better.
