I used to get email updates about the Great Park. Email search shows the last update I received was from Feb 8 talking about raising 500K for "the creation of a Preview Garden at the Orange County Great Park"

I can't remember if someone posted this in another topic or not... is there a way to renegotiate if you already signed a lease? My brother lives here, so I'm sure he'd be interested.

What, there were no homeless people for the cops to pick up and then drop off in Santa Ana? Yeah, I saw the cops @ the stop signs in Woodbury too. Both times I've ever been pulled over due to rolling stops. Now I stop, and wait a second, and subsequently piss off the lady on the cell phone...

Visited this past weekend. All of the prices are same since the late Feb post, with the exception of Residence 4 - $580,750

Wow, after reading this entire ordeal I must say that these HOAs all too often to be power hungry dictatorships. Definitely makes me think that when I can afford something I'm going to buy where there's a relaxed or no HOA, or LA... etc. Yet another reason I long for the "old" days in...

Buddy of mine will be in almost the same position 6 months from now. Lost his gig in the mortgage industry, didn't save much, bought a bunch of fancy toys... etc.

I will 2nd the Keurig. There's one at the office. I was going to give up coffee for lent. Then I remembered we had a Keurig. Decided to give up fast food instead.

Check out yelp.com; I review a lot of places and there's a whole community that reviews restaurants, shops, etc.

Sounds like the start of a bloodbath there...
