I think I've just been seriously misleaded by a realtor

I wonder if you should file a complaint with the local Board of Realtors (or is that a waste of time, guys?). Sounds to me that you got misled and lied to. That's not ethical. Whatever you do, don't work with these idiots. They deserve to lose the $10K and the commission. Hang in there...

The neighbors are at it again...

I'd make some smart-ass comment but I'll refrain from doing so. Talk to your management. I had this problem in the past with a neighbor and his wife, mentioned it to the apt. manager, and it was discretely taken care of.

    Threat from ROC/Truthi/Pebbles/Provider

And if I am not mistaken there were at least a couple others that I don't remember off the top of my head. The reason why I remembered the ones I did was because she had very distinct diction and used the same arguments and insults. And would never answer any questions I asked ("can you...

    YouTube (and other) Time Wasters

This may have been posted here already, but I just found it and thought it was pretty good. Well, sh*t. I can't seem to post the YouTube video itself, but here's the link. Realtors Know How to Sell.

    Chatsworth train crash

Here ya go, Trooper. Family news conference. This looks to be the taped version but it's the just about same thing I saw live. In the tape, they show Laura's name and relationship at the bottom of the screen. The video is...

    Chatsworth train crash

Troop, just to let you know - her partner Laura was at a news conference this afternoon with Spree DeSha's parents and it was said twice by the KCAL reporter that Laura was her life partner. Laura also said that they had been together for six years. I'm glad it was acknowledged and not ignored.

Best CD and Money Market Rates

WaMu's 12-month online CD is now back down to an APY of 4.00% (dropped a full percentage). Also - right now, their website is running really slow. I wonder if there's a bunch of customers freaking out or something and trying to get into their website. In addition, I heard a guy on CNBC...

    A truly distasteful ad

Besides the "Thanks" to click, we need a "No Thanks," too.

    Chatsworth train crash

What a sad day. I wondered if you knew her or ended up being assigned to the crash. I can certainly see your frustration and understand it. For the life of me, I cannot understand why the news articles won't write the truth and recognize this officer's relationship. I just don't get it, but...

And here I thought that "Panda's Challenge" would be to only ask one question per week ;)

Following in the footsteps of IPO...listing my condo Quail Hill condo for sale

"...and that place looks so empty." That's called uncluttered. It doesn't look empty nor is it crowded with personal "stuff" that gets in the way of buyers trying to figure out whether or not their furniture will fit into a room. What else would you have done with the very small room...

Following in the footsteps of IPO...listing my condo Quail Hill condo for sale

Looks like you have a model-match neighbor trying to sell now, too, starting for a little more than you did. Who knows - they might get it. Honestly, I think their place shows better than your's does - neutral paint colors and uncluttered (although they should have put some chairs around their...

Oops. I was looking at pictures of another property on your street. Now that I've looked at the correct pictures, get rid of the fake flowers!

    Great Park: Night Flights

Went to see Arlo Guthrie last Saturday night. It was an awesome concert and the price was right, too (free!). Didn't buy any of the food, but someone sitting next to me said it sucked.

    Google Chrome Browser

Downloaded it, tried it, dumped it. I couldn't figure out how to get to my home page (and I'm not entirely computer-stupid) and it made my laptop heat up. I love Google, too, but I'll wait to try it again when it's not a beta anymore. So far, it's Firefox for me.
