As much as I want an Android tablet for myself, I'm noticing that it's not something I've got to have.  I'm ok with waiting for something that's a gotta-have tablet.  If that wait is 6+ months away, I may not be able to wait and just get what's available at that time.

Thanks for this.  My wife just finished reading the 2nd book last night and was dying to start the third.  She had borrowed the hardcovers from her brother for the first two and was contemplating buying the third (brother is 7 hours away) as physical book or go ebook.  Took a bit of work, but...

Wow, hopefully it's a software/firmware fix and not a permanent hardware issue.  Charging after reaching 100% shouldn't harm the battery.  It's supposed to stop charging when it's fully charged.  Otherwise, there'd be serious heat and possible explosion issues.

I'd rather no company has private information on me, but that's not something I can control.  I'm online for work, friends, family, play, etc.... it's impossible to not be "monitored" if you don't live in some remote part of the planet and have Internet access.

I forgot to mention that legitimate sites get infected and hacked too.  Don't think a site is safe because they're well known...

Yeah, that's way overpriced.  March will be ending and still no official announcement of any Android tablet that I want buy.

Most people I know with tablets keep them in some type of case.  So with this additional 10 degrees, these things are going to cook during the summer outside.  Heat is evil to electronic devices.  Wonder what we'll see of this.

Great info icey. To add, be careful of fakeAV.  Those are basically popups from some sites that you visit.  They make them look like security warnings that you'd get from your anti-virus program.  The problem is that when you click to "clean" the fake infection, you're actually downloading...

I have dual displays at work.  Can't imagine not having that.  I telecommute one day a week and it's hard to live off the laptop display.  At some point, I'll probably just pony up to get an external display for home.

We were just saying that we needed a new fridge.  Any recommendations on which model?  We'd like capacity to be 25+, french door, freezer on bottom and ice/water dispenser.  We were thinking of heading to Sears outlet and Pacific Sales to check some models out.  So if we find a model from these...

I'm sure they produce as much and as quickly as they can.  They have Foxconn running 24/7 when they start producing them.  They can only make so many before release.

I knew two languages up until around 6 and a half years of age.  Then, we immigrated to the US and all I knew flew out the window.  I learned English really fast and my parents learned it too and spoke to us in that at home.  I do wish that they spoke to us in our native language more as we were...

I hope the next few months will bring great new Android tablets that exceeds expectations, instead of being huge let downs like the Transformer Prime.
