I don't like when the garage door directly enters the house. I would like a "mud room" an area between the garage and then the main part of the house- a place where my family can take off their shoes (we don't wear outdoor shoes in the house), kids can put book bags, jackets, etc..

We send our kids to Newport Montessori- they take kids from walking age through 1st grade. I have a 4 yr old son and a daughter in the 1st grade. The school does a great job with academics and making learning fun. My daughter has homework weekly (also the kindergarteners have homework)...

My kids go to the Newport Montessori on Orchard/Cypress. We love it there. In the classrooms for 2-3 yr olds, they actually help with the potty training.

I actually went to Quail Hill today and saw the $1.399 million Retreat home. We heard the lady showing the house telling someone that the bank wants "a 2-week turnaround" and that they have 2 all-cash offers, both at $1.2 million, so if they are serious, they need to move now.
