Am I reading this right? <a href="https://www.patelco.org/accounts/certificates.aspx">Patelco</a> has a 12-Month CD for 6.75% / 7 APY? Although it only has a max of $1,000. :down: I'm not sure if it's worth the time and effort for $70.

Good question. The severance package and savings dwindles rather quickly when you are living off of it though. And everyone we know that has been laid off in the financial industry can't find a job. Tough times.
