PenFed has awesome rates but I heard they do not do new build.  I know they don't do new build condos but I'm not sure SFR though.

Does the CA 17 day rule apply to new build homes?  If someone put down a deposit and wanted to back out, would they be entitled to a refund of deposit within the 17 days of signing the purchase contract?

Funny, if you read description, the owner will still live there but I assume in one of the other secondary bedrooms.  You could rent a 1 bedroom in the Park or Village for that amount.
