    ENT for sinus issues

I had seen this ENT to check my ears out after doing a lot of diving.  I really liked him.  He had an office in Irvine near Culver and Barranca but he may have moved to Santa Ana.  Here is what I found via Google: Thomas Huang, MD 801 North Tustin Avenue #500 Santa Ana, CA 92705 (714) 550-7700

Trying to buy in Irvine is NO Fun

This thread has gotten really off track from the OP's comments.  Just saying....

    An alternative to Irvine?

You may have lived in a different part than me.  When I moved to California, I originally lived in Irvine.  I then lived in Aliso Viejo from 1989 (yes, it existed back then) through 2006 in two different places.  I found the traffic in Aliso Viejo to be increasingly unbearable.  The housing...

Greatcuts - Men's haircuts rolled back to $18.00

Hi, I often get a haircut at Greatcuts at Harvard and Main and had been paying $21 plus tip.  I went in a week or so ago and heard they rolled their prices back to $18 because of the slow economy.  I don't know how long that reduction will last. Thanks!

    Pedestrian Traffic/IBC

Wow...it looks like they may be putting a sidewalk in front of the post office.  Or maybe it's a trench for something else.

    Laguna Altura in 2011

What does this have to do with Laguna Altura?  I suggest taking this to another thread. ;)

    Pedestrian Traffic/IBC

I was at the post office (McGaw/Murphy) a few nights ago.  When I was leaving the post office and turning right onto Murphy, I had to come to a quick stop because of some folks walking on Murphy carrying some merchandise.  It was dark out but I am guessing (could be wrong) that they were...

    WSJ Article on Heritage Fields

Well...if you expand that to include Diamond Jamboree, I might agree.  I need at least one Korean restaurant to keep me happy. :-)

    WSJ Article on Heritage Fields

I saw this article in the Wall Street Journal. "....Boston-based State Street Bank & Trust Co., a unit of State Street Corp., and a group of investors that includes several private-equity funds and pension funds will provide $400 million in cash and credit to the project, called Heritage Fields...

LA Fitness Replacing Mervyns at Culver/Barranca

I was just in the plaza at Culver and Barranca and noticed that the old Mervyns had been razed and a new LA Fitness would be built in that location.  That happened fast.  I could have sworn that the old building was there fairly recently.

    Online Photo Services

I am considering uploading some photos to one of the online photo sites such as Flickr, Photobucket, etc.    Do any of you have any suggestions as to which of these are better?

24 Hour Fitness Lakeshore Towers - What a mess!

As an fyi, I met with the gym manager today.  He said that the only new Sport Club members they are allowing into the Lakeshore Club are those that have gone to the South Coast club over the past year a certain number of times or those who have joined at that club.  He said his staff have...

24 Hour Fitness Lakeshore Towers - What a mess!

I think the most annoying thing about this whole Lakeshore Towers episode is that it's a perfect example of how messaging can make a difference.  24HF could have proactively mailed a notice to Ultra Sport members or even posted something at the gym letting us know what would be happening and...

24 Hour Fitness Lakeshore Towers - What a mess!

Hello, I have belonged to 24 Hour Fitness at Lakeshore Towers for a while.  Over the past few days, the gym has gone from being a great place to workout to near chaos.  Why?  24HF recently closed its South Coast Sport Level club location on Anton for three months for remodeling.  As a way of...

    Shell Station/Barranca & Paseo Westpark

Anyone know if the Shell station at the corner of Barranca and Paseo Westpark is closed for good. Or, is it one of those regular EPA cleanups?

    So what's an invisible user?

On the forum home page, there is a section that lists usage statistics for the past 24 hours. One of the user types that is counted is "invisible users." What's an "invisible user?"

    Zumba workouts

Zumba was founded by a guy. Go to Zumba.com. Yes, more participants are women just like with aerobics in general. I watched an instructors' class a few months ago when I was at 24 Hour Fitness Lakeshore Towers. It looked fun. But, I will gladly agree that if I did Zumba, everyone would...

Cost saving ideas for the City of Irvine?

I thought I'd start a thread on how the City of Irvine could reduce its expenses. Here's my first idea. I received the latest paper copy edition of "Inside Irvine - The Publication of the City of Irvine." I wonder how much it costs the city to print and mail this. I don't what percentage...
