Really?  Its not next to the 241?  thats a flat out lie.  Anyone could simply look at google maps and see the 241 is LITERALLY right next to the tract.  I drove to look at your homes.  I literally did not stop but rather made a U-turn out as soon as I saw how close the 241 was.

some of these homes will be motorcourt.  mid 2000's for sq footage.  around 1.2-1.3M.  Expect large folding doors included in price (not upgrade)

I only read the first post on the thread, but that first post is talking about northwood high versus portola high,not altair versus OH.  feel free to use google maps to measure yourself.  Again I could care less, as both are miles away.

I suppose its all perception.  Surely its reasonable to question why people would pay large sums of money to live on a previous toxic dump site.  However if you dont care, then it doesnt matter I suppose.

I just measured.  Seems like Altair is closer.  Not that it matters to me much, but just correcting an incorrect statement. 

I dont deny that.  However living miles away from a landfill is completely different than living in a community surrounding a "contamination anomaly" site. 

15 homes during presale seems pretty good since this development is not that great in size compared to other new developments.  I still dont understand why people would pay so much money to live right next to contamination site. 

How is Altair selling?  Did anyone on this blog buy there?

These BR homes are really expensive.  You can buy similar Irvine homes for a bit more it seems.  Thanks for the advice, Ill pass it along.

If you look at the first page of posts on this topic, the map posted show it is literally in the middle of the development.  Ironically all the later maps used on this post have the contamination site unmarked.
