    Savings Acct

ETF tied to an index is better, same thing with far cheaper expenses. I like Vanguard ETF's.

Excellent, love it every time I watch a movie. The regular 5.1/7.1 movies use the overhead speakers with Dolby Surround and they sound just as good as the (few) Blu-Rays that are encoded specifically for Atmos. Watched Into The Storm and it was amazing (the sound, not the plot or acting). I...

    Omg! 0.30 kW/hour!!

Yep, Jasmine Cypress Village. Didn't even use the AC much if at all this last month too. We are a tech family though, multiple dual screen computers, laptops, 85" TV, 60" TV, 11 speaker surround with with subwoofer, receiver, amps, etc.

I'd kill for $100 bill. My last bill was $257.47. Getting scared of when our first Summer in this house hits. May need to do solar before the Summer. I never had a bill below $100 even at our old 2 bedroom apartment in the Winter.

    Routers

No, higher frequency doesn't penetrate through walls as well. Most people want better range and a stronger signal but all the technology advancements seem to be focused on higher speeds when most people aren't complaining about that. And in order to get the max speed you need to be in the same...

    Routers

What most people don't realize is that the 5ghz is the fast lane, but you mainly use it if you're in the same room as the router as it doesn't go through walls well. If you want range you need to use the 2.4ghz which isn't as fast.

    Routers

It will have better range, but probably won't be amazing like 50-100% better.

    Cox vs U-verse

Definitely DirecTV for TV if OTA Antenna isn't good enough. They have better sports packages and far better DVR's.

    Cox vs U-verse

Cox if you want fast and reliable. Uverse if you're on food stamps and want anything above dialup AOL.

mdf or melamine - entertainment built in

I vote for no-built in, just a clean look. A built-in will also limit you in the future when you want a bigger TV. Here's my current setup:

    Digital movies

Vudu of course. Has the best quality of any streaming service in most avsforum comparisons. Plus supports more platforms that iTunes/Apple doesn't, like Android. Of course sound quality still sucks compared to lossless Blu-Ray.

Thanks, it is comfy, a lot of people fall asleep on it. Always wanted a deep couch and finally got one. It's a custom couch from here:http://www.yelp.com/biz/furniture-outlet-fountain-valley?osq=oc+furniture We chose the color, color of legs, length, height, depth, number of cushions, etc. It's...

No, was a quick move-in. They probably would have put them in the wrong locations anyway though. I'm using the ceiling speakers for Atmos overheads, my 7.1 speakers are on the ground.

Nope, Jasmine. I think the in-ceiling speakers were $500 something each and there's 6. Labor I think was around $1,000 for the ceiling installation.

    Cox Internet Monthly Data Plan

Was slight exaggeration, there's no hard release date yet. Won't matter if he's not getting Gigabit Internet anyway.
