Samsung iPhone... err... Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge

I like the changes, just wish the screen was bigger. I'll be getting once next month. I've had an S3, S4 and Note 3. Currently have an LG G3. At first I thought the removable batteries were great and bought several spares for my first phones. But realized that if you keep removing the back of...

Laguna Altura residents! Do you guys hear any noise from ampitheater?

Don't live in Laguna Altura but used to live at the Los Olivos apartments. Noise wasn't a big deal, unless you go to bed before 11 PM. You don't even really hear it from inside if you have the TV or music on. The worst part was the traffic on the 5 anytime there was an event.

    Jasmine at Cypress Village

Stopped by sales office yesterday. Here's an updated price sheet: Has gone up about $30k since we bought (moved in last September). Interestingly the extension is bigger than the original, about 120 something homes vs 100 something.

    4K TV

I called a few times last year and they said by end of 2014. Obviously didn't happen but hopefully soon. I'll call them again when I get a free minute.

    4K TV

No, I have over 100 mbps with Cox. Netflix 4k maxes out at 15 mbps I believe. So unless you have seven 4k streams throughout the house and once you'll be fine. Of course, I'm upgrading to gigabit as soon as Cox releases it anyway.

    4K TV

Also DirecTV is launching satellites late this year for the first 4K broadcast channels. Make sense, they were the first to offer hundreds of HD channels, well before cable and Dish. Hopefully the 2016 Super Bowl will be broadcast in 4K. Of course, you will need to upgrade your DVR and dish.

    4K TV

I have a 4k 85" Samsung and can stream Netflix and Amazon in 4k. All the 2014 and 2015 4k TV's have the streaming apps built in. The aftermarket boxes will need HVEC to stream 4k. Roku, AppleTV etc will eventually come out with boxes that support this. Talk of the next versions of PS4 and Xbox1...

Motorola SB6183 DOCSIS 3.0 Cable Modem

Yeah, supposed to have come by now but must be delayed. I called awhile back and they said it would be $300 installation (huge box somewhere in house) and $99 a month. Includes modem or a modem/router combo, they weren't sure.

Motorola SB6183 DOCSIS 3.0 Cable Modem

Cox is going to launch Gigabit Internet in Irvine soon. It's actually in one apartment complex already. I believe they provide you some sort of modem or modem/router combo to handle the speed since DOCSIS 3.1 modems aren't out yet.

    ac routers

Slightly in my experience. Depends on the house, walls, etc. But most of the gains and development seem to be in speed which is at the 5 ghz band which is only good if you're in the same room as the router.

    Wii-U

Brother in law has one in the house. Play Mario Kart and Smash Bros 8 players occasionally, but doesn't get nearly as much use as the PS4 and Xbox1. May change when Mario Party 10 comes out in a couple months though, the ultimate party/drinking game.

Hmm, guess it's not activated yet then. I still go from 1 bar of LTE to 3G usually.

    Del Frisco's Grille (Irvine Spectrum)

Don't worry, I've gone with my wife to Ruth's Chris several times and we order one ribeye to split, no sides, no desert and just water. Ends up being about $25 per person which is great compared to if we went to some lesser restaurant and each ordered are own thing.

    Del Frisco's Grille (Irvine Spectrum)

Also noticed the place was empty when I went. I was all excited when I heard this was opening because we always go to Del Frisco's Double Eagle when we hit Vegas. But for some reason, ribeyes just didn't taste as good. Reviews of the Irvine location compared to Vegas one on Yelp confirm. Will...
