While that may be true in some cases, view lots command a premium overall...even when you have a front-row picturesque view of giant garbage dump. So it would be even LESS if you compare with a non-view large-ish lot in FR with a comparably-sized home on it. This isn't a views are awesome/lame...

I just don't know about that. FR has comparably sized homes with good sized view lots for $800k-$900k.  I know about the allure of "new home", but that's quite a jump. BR won't even have those kind of views- too far down the hill.

We looked it up, it's going to be a Hobby Lobby (freakin AWESOME- not.) Seriously Brookfield, who designs these? You should reprimand your design team and forego bonuses and raises this year for releasing this absolutely inefficient, inconvenient, and overall unnecessary CRAP on Foothill Ranch...

Also, the 3 bedroom units have MBR walls shared with secondary bedrooms. All in all this is a really shitty project. There are better ways to sandwich this much buildable sqft into this lot. Bad job, Brookfield. Really bad.

I hate tandem spaces but if the residents are required to park their cars in both spaces, I guess it won't impact parking much. Still looks really crowded. I think it will be a cheaper alternative to Baker Ranch.

I may not be interested in living there but was definitely curious of what "mixed use" project would go there as I drive by it every day. Stick the apartments right next to the 241, that's a good idea for buffer!
