Since I do the majority of my driving in Irvine, I only notice the Asian and Persian 16-22 y/o crazy drivers.  They're insane.  That's why it's best to move to an area where you don't have parents who buy their teenagers $65,000 - $120,000  new cars.

I've lived in Irvine for much of my driving life and I've never been in any kind of accident or fender bender here.  The only two times I've ever been hit were both in Redondo Beach and the driver wasn't even Asian (or white).

People who can't figure out that Culver has two exit lanes on the 405 south.  Pay attention or learn to drive.  Don't wait until you're about to hit a tree before you decide you want to stay on the freeway. People who enter the 405 south from Culver at 5 miles an hour when traffic is going 60+...

Friday pet peeve:  cashiers who ask if you want your receipt after it's already printed and they're holding it in their hand.  I can understand cash only mom and pop places not wanting to give you a receipt, but I don't understand why chain stores train their minimum wage disciples not give...

I so wanted to post this weekend.  The obnoxious tree trimming buzzers were going all day Saturday and even Sunday morning.

All non-Irvine Company shopping centers are horribly designed and dirty.  The city should not let any other developers or property managers ruin the pristine pleasantness of the perfectly planned community.

I remember walking around Berkeley towards the more dumpy areas.  Most of the houses were filled with native landscaping / weeds in front.  There is no way you would hear lawn mowers and leaf blowers polluting the harmony of the neighborhood every single day.

I don't know about that.  If there wasn't so much green space and trees then I think it would be so much more quiet.

It's such a noisy city.  I really don't know what's worse.  The sound of gunfire or leaf blowers and lawnmowers.
