Looking at the map, I actually took Ocean Ave (parallel to Lincoln) to Abbot Kinney to Washington and then to Lincoln. I think this avoided most of the really bad traffic. Just watch for the speed traps on Abbot Kinney.

Itriya Cafe at Diamond Jamboree just closed recently. Only open for a year. Never got around to trying it. Also, Daily Grill at Fashion Island is closing at the end of this month. That restaurant has been there forever.
