I've been approached at a gas station in Irvine for gas money by a guy driving a nice SUV. Also, at a gas station in Aliso Viejo, a guy on a motorcycle asked for gas money to go to his grandfather's funeral.

Turned onto my quiet residential street in Irvine and there were four police officers standing behind a police car with searchlights pointing at oncoming traffic. They had rifles out. I hope this is over soon.

There was an Irvine PD police car parked on my street overnight. This morning there are two police officers standing outside the vehicle wearing riot helmets. I wonder if they are protecting someone related to this case? This is near Harvard and Barranca.
