US new home sales drop for second straight month

If there are more home available for rent, then renting 3500+ sqft home would be a lot cheaper than buying. lol How would builders react to it? Just a got a email from Greatpark about their upcoming Cadence park, with several SFH/Condos, which are definitely going to be more than 1.5M.

Irvine home values up 36% in 5 years: How?s that rank nationally?

Dow Jones Industrial Average tumbled by more than 650 points in the biggest plunge since Donald Trump?s election.  The main concern is Fed raising interest rates, possibly three times a year.

    Elderberry at PS5

We recently purchased at Elderberry after doing extensive research on new developments. These true SFH homes are 10-15% cheaper than homes of similar size at eastwood and OH. For us biggest attraction was location, at the top of the hill, surrounded by mountains, less crowded due to very few...

Irvine home values up 36% in 5 years: How?s that rank nationally?

Does it have a similar impact on the rentals as well? For instance, if home price drop would rent drop as well at the same time? Rents in Irvine are very high, and they keep going up. Would there be anytime when we will see 4 Bed SFH listed less than 3K a month for rent?

Irvine home values up 36% in 5 years: How?s that rank nationally?

The reason for that crash wasn't due to irresponsible lending by banks? Now a days its not easy to qualify for a home loan. Dont you agree increase in inflation, higher wages, will cause home prices to go up as consumer confidence is growing. Whether you like this or not, new tax changes will...

Irvine home values up 36% in 5 years: How?s that rank nationally?

I met a sad face dude today, and he was trying to convince why renting is better than buying a 1.3+m home because sky is going to fall in 2019/2020, where home prices will fall more than 20% including in Irvine. This was the last thing i wanted to hear after signing up for a new home :).
