It may be true that many of the homes that seem to be on sale in TRock look pretty bad in terms of remodeling needs, but quite frankly you'd be surprised how nice many of the homes are remodeled there-  that aren't for sale.

I have to disagree with the Foothill Ranch parent as well.  My kids' current school in IUSD has amazing parent participation (and not just the pocketbook).  Perhaps it was her school.

IHO- Are you putting your kids in Irvine schools this year? We had our kids do the morning (before school care) as I need to be at work for the markets, but I never had a problem (but we're not at Stonegate).

Maybe we'll get them today.  What I found odd (and I looked at various schools) was that the 3rd graders all seemed to do not so well in English.  Maybe the test was difficult- maybe it's because it's the 3rd grade that determines GATE?  For IUSD you need a 460 for English and Math.  Mean scores...

We haven't gotten them (IUSD district) but my friend in the Capo district got theirs yesterday!  Why is IUSD 2 days late??  I am not all into these scores, but I'd like to know how they did!
