    Well, CVE borders the 133. So, yes, it's near a 'big road'.  If you think about most communities in East Irvine, there's something nearby. I've lived/owned in Stonegate, Woodbury and CVE.  I'm really enjoying CVE so far.

    If you're referring to south(east) of the 133 after the 5FWY, that's the Senior living community that is being built by CalAtlantic.  They've graded the land and are beginning to build the model homes.  The community will be on the corner of Marine Way and Ridge Valley.

    I keep seeing this thrown around but do we have anything that shows that this is actually happening?  It's been proposed since about 2006/2007 as part of the circulation plan but is still considered "proposed" from everything that I found/heard.  Any additional detailed is appreciated!!

    I know this is a stressful time because you're purchasing a home at CVE but relax man. The proposal was stated/written by ONE OC Supervisor, Shawn Nelson, who doesn't even have jurisdiction over Irvine.  Todd Spitzer (and Lisa Bartlett) is in charge of Irvine.  There are many more steps to go...

    What makes you think that? The meeting clearly stated that this was proposed by ONE supervisor and hasn't gotten any other traction from anyone else.... Based on what I'm currently seeing, it doesn't seem to be a major concern as of right now.
