    coronavirus

Is the ICU and Hospitalization counts being published an all in number or is that just a "Coronavirus" number. If it is a all-in number, I would think there is a backlog of people who didn't go in to the Dr's and had probably more serious conditions that lay idle during the quarantine, so we...

    COVID-19 Retail Openings and Closures

I really hope with those really long and established restaurants, the people closing didn't lose their retirement nest eggs, etc, since often times business owners have so much sunk into their businesses, and this was more of a matter of, at the end of the day, they are ready to retire, maybe...

Which restaurants can you dine in?

do you realy think you'd have to do that much.  just fully enclose the other end of the glass (with a temporary structure) so that people could see the pizza and other stuff, but air didn't flow through to it.  I say temporary because no way in 5 years are people not going to want to have AYCE...

Who has installed a toilet seat bidet / swash?

If you could pass his info along, that would be great. Thanks!

Which restaurants can you dine in?

The salad bar already had an entire area in the middle where employees work, so the only real place you would have had to make any dramatic change was on the soup and even than, don't even change it at all, just shift the concept a bit where you wrote down what soup's you wanted and people...

Which restaurants can you dine in?

I had just assumed they would have pivoted that direction. There must have been a different issue (maybe the PE company - I think they were PE owned or at least had gotten sold recently) where they were overlevered or something and had to BK because of other "on top of" challenges.  I think I...

Which restaurants can you dine in?

I didn't eat at any restaurant this weekend (never ate out a ton anyway, except for fast casual and it seems like a lot of fast casual places have still not opened their interiors) but I did have a weekend where I was antsy to eat anything except my own cooking (after 2+ months of by and large...

Technically I think Cashcall & Owning are same Company (same owner at least - I think).

    Entertainment for Kids

Yeah - I'll double down on the cooking / gardening.  I've done more yardwork past 2 months than ever before. Unfortunately - I also have the bug bite marks to show for it (I never remember this many mosquitos in Irvine as a kid - or whatever it is that is attacking me).  With all these bug...

I'm going to try this one tonight - always looking for something new to read to the kids.

    Child Safety

COVID has brought some of that back. Working from home, my kids are far freer soles now than they ever did when my wife and I were always at the office, kid in school & daycare.  Plus all the neighbors kids out, etc.  I try to find the brightside of various situations and getting to know our...

Which restaurants can you dine in?

They might have actually saved money cause they could have managed the "serving side" of the people. Kind of a, 3 items of a time limit or something.  Yes, you have some cost for extra servers but on flipside, can manage inventory.  I figure a new soup plantation will emerge in a few years.

Fantastic - It is also on discovery channel as well.

    Remote Productivity Poll

In a normal world, I think I could actually be more effective (mainly because less distractions and lack of commute would cause me to work more hours in general..but net net on a similar basis). Right now...juggling kids, etc, plus working...creates more distractions.  I'm working more now than...

    Car Wash Options

I don't think pressure washers are needed to wash your own car. In fact, given the power of a pressure washer, I think there is a better chance you do more harm than good.  When I think of pressure washers, I think of it more for cleaning your concrete surfaces, etc.

    Coronavirus Recession

The hard part is you look at somewhere like Germany and they just were more swift & better at their response and they might have nipped this thing in the butt.  Than again, they might not have.  If there is no stopping it...than it is just a matter of doing enough to ensure you buy time for...

    Coronavirus Recession

I'm a big Soupy fan. My hope is that we see the Company brought back to life in 2, 3 or even 5 years.  I figure it will take a few years of the virus to be gone before we start to see some new views of things that just couldn't run during however long this Virus lasts for.  My presumption is...

    New Car Deals during COVID-19?

This is the car on my list (well technically either Kia or Hyundai version (Pallisade).  I figure I'm waiting another 6 months until everything catches up and the deals really come through.  Likely will be the next car we purchase.
