    I don't doubt that banks would like to speed the process, and please the Fed at the same time, by pushing short sales. But for all the reasons mentioned, I don't think that dog will hunt. All that will happen is that there will be an additional 3-6 month delay as the banks hold off...

    South HB, below Adams, say, has great neighborhood feelings, so far as I can tell. but it takes a long time to get up to the freeway in the morning.

    hah, and I read on CR that the 6% "cure" rate includes those who have received "loan mods", over half of which will fail within a year. so it is really 3%
