imagine being a small business, thinking you might finally make it through the covid shutdowns, and then your shop gets burned down and looted anyway.

"some fraud is legitimate" how much fraud is enough?  when elections are decided by hundreds of votes, giving 100+ million voters each a mail in ballot would be a disaster.  when a small amount of voters vote absentee, then 0.1% of mail in ballots being fraudulent is no big deal...but when 0.1%...

employers will take advantage of this wfh craze to squeeze as many extra hours per week out of their employees as they can.  not that it changes anything for me, but like a few here have already mentioned - there are no more "boundaries" in terms of acceptable work hours.  long gone are the days...

that study was published a month ago...we have much better data now that says the virus is not as bad as we thought it was.  i'd love to see them do an update to their study with current data.

if ticket prices come down accordingly, arenas will most certainly be sold out.  small market teams might struggle, but imagine going to a lakers game for $20.  this is a chance for some people, who would have never been able to normally afford to go, to finally see the team they've been...

do colleges even care about someone having a 6.0 gpa? i would imagine once you get above 5.0 it doesn't even matter anymore. it's like when you're wealthy, does having $100m change your life much versus having $50m?
