Apparently we now have to dump food waste into the green bin, and we got a tiny compost container to have in the house. I would rather just have another trash can in the house that we designate as food waste, but the complication seems to be that liners aren't allowed into the green bin...

Nope. My perspective was that Tesla promised a product at a price, I put in a deposit for that, and then they changed the price. I then cancelled my order. I wasn't aware of the loophole :(

If you're really just taking short trips around town, spending $10-$20 an Uber trip isn't too crazy. A car payment plus insurance could easily be north of $700/month, which pays for a lot of Uber trips.

I have the shittiest BMW i4 and I've never really wanted for more speed to pass cars or merge onto the freeway, haha.

At these price levels I think the dollars saved on gas are a non-factor compared to saving your valuable time in terms of filling up at the gas station.

I think AAA is efficient and doesn't cost a lot of money. If you stay in hotels as frequently as I do, the membership even pays for itself.

I rented a Model Y and a Polestar 2. My wife got sick of the party trick of flooring it real quick. I can't imagine the utility of having an even faster car in the form of the Taycan. Having said that, the Taycan wagon is one of the most beautiful cars I have ever seen.

Nice amenities nearby. Carbon Canyon Park, its redwood grove, oil trail, and a retail center with WFM/Mendo/Urban Plates/Capital Noodle Bar.

Too bad, we went there several times and enjoyed both the beer and food. I've been to Smoke and Fire in La Habra and was not impressed.
