That's awesome eff! I've been meaning to try the CCW direction one of these days..sounds like shay did great for her first time...
The climbs are easier in the CCW direction. Also, Cook's Corner as almost at the halfway point and you can refill your bottles there.

Shay and I did the Santiago loop counterclockwise. It was her first time! We even added a few miles onto the finish and it worked out to 41.7 miles. Looking forward to Solvang!

Faster than a decanter would be nice. Would you say that doohickey is equivalent to twenty minutes in the decanter? An Hour?

On their website, you can sort out the wines on the 5-cent sale. I've never shopped them very carefully so I don't know if what amounts to 50% off is a good deal on those wines or not.

Biggest Investment Mistakes you have ever made.

Kept my 401k out of the market for all of 1999 (and earning 5.9% APY) until after I saw that y2k was a non-event. Then I went all-in during the first week of Jan 2000. You can imagine how that turned out. In 1999, I had access to a tech-heavy mid-cap fund that returned 110% which I...

How can one tell if a friend is drinking excessively?

Hang around on garbage collection mornings. Listen for the recycle truck lift-arm to strain noticeably. Then listen for enough ear-splitting glass clinkage to wake the dead. (wear earplugs in Westpark on Wed. morning, y'all. Trust me.)
