    Presidential Elections

I should start a new thread to discuss hoses so we can stay on topic here :-)

    Presidential Elections

I owned this hose until it broke. It kind of sucks. The twisting nozzle threads degraded and it became very difficult to adjust. There's also no way to spray with lower pressure aside from turning the spigot down, so when I wanted to water some loose soil or delicate plants it made a mess or...

    Presidential Elections

Yawn. Go get busy with something other than trying to start arguments on internet forms.

    Presidential Elections

I get what you're saying. Personally I would rather purchase from an American with an American supply chain even if it means I pay more as a consumer, but there are far more consumers for a business to consider than me.

    Presidential Elections

I'm exhausted from reading this thread and politics being in the spotlight for the last 8 years straight. Can we go back to not caring about politics with the exception of about 1 week every 4 years?

    Presidential Elections

The real question is how TF were you in business before the tariff when China was selling the same product as you were for 60% less But generally yes, tariffs distort supply/demand and are inflationary. There may be other reasons to impose a tariff that may offset the market...

    Tesla Cybertruck

"Irvine Police's PR department dramatically unveiled their new Cybertruck, proving beyond a shadow of a doubt that the cops are not underfunded." Lol

    CIELO VISTA @ YORBA LINDA

Looks like I was high on my $/sqft estimate. Those are around $550/sqft, with about $250k lot premium on lot 2 over lot 66

    CIELO VISTA @ YORBA LINDA

It looks like many of those lots will have decent views (based on google maps street view of the project under construction) and with some decent yard space. Generous house & room sizing relative to Irvine new builds. I dig the single story floor plans. Gated community is a nice touch. I...

What is the best month for rental market?

I would guess late spring / early summer when families are making plans for the following school year. That also aligns with the seasonality of the general RE market. Just a guess though.

    Renovation referrals

They did one of my neighbor's flooring. I have no information other than that, but man do I respect a that business name.

Ravello at Orchard Hills by New Home Co.

Wild. They cut the price recently. Still $1,260/sqft though. Put me down for a hard pass.

    Tesla Cybertruck

I don't feel strongly about the CT either way, but lately I'm actually finding amusement whenever I see an Elon related hit piece. They're everywhere, so it's typically a daily or multiple time per week occurrence. Yes Elon is an extremely unique character. 1 in 100M? 1 in 1B? Maybe. Yes...

    ICE or EV?

They're everywhere in OC and arguably a good value, due in large part to heavy subsidies between the EV credits available to consumers and Carbon Credits available to Tesla. If EVs had to compete on level economic field with ICEs, I think we would be seeing a different outcome...

Newer Irvine listings with crazy WTF asking prices from equity sellers

I think they actually were TB homes. Part of the "Alta Vista" and "Bella Vista" tracts https://www.irvinehousingblog.com/2018/04/23/orchard-hills-alta-vista-collection-review/ 11/5/2020 Sold $4,150,000 Pretty awesome ROI

The Meadows, Lake Forest by Toll Brothers

I confused Parkside and Parklands. Parklands - the tract in The Meadows surrounded by Greenleaf / Emi Way / Bake Parkway / Rancho Parkway Parkside - the TB community surrounded by Rancho Parkway / Portola Parkway / 241 My comments were about Parklands within The Meadows. My original post...
