    $400-$500 HOA for attached condos seems to be the norm, so there's not much you can do about it. Almost $1100/sq ft for an attached condo is crazy.

    I think it's just range anxiety. Personally, I do prefer EV over PHEV because, like you said, less maintenance and pollution. I really don't like the feel when the battery runs out on my Prius Prime. It's so much nicer to drive it when it's in EV mode.

    Personally, I'm more opposed to landlordship/property investments than out of state or foreign buyers who buy the home to live in. FCBs aren't the only problem in Irvine. A lot of these buyers at Highland and Cielo in PS are flippers.

    The BYD hybrid with a 50-mile battery really is ideal for daily commute. Not many people do more than 50 mile round trip daily commute. And the fact that it's a hybrid that can do 1250 miles on one charge and one fill completely removes the range anxiety. I mean, even the regular hybrid plug-ins...

    Very true. Without transactions, yearly assessment increase is 2%. Now these homes are increasing at 40% to 50% rates.
