Seems like it worked out pretty well for scubasteve, he bought at 3M in 2021 and seems to be worth $6M in 2025.

Credit card and/or Apple Cash for teens?

I added both of my kids to my credit cards. Like IHO said, it builds their credit history. Also added those cards to their Apple Pay on their phones

Orchard Hills 4 - "The Summit" Updates

I grew up with nothing and never really placed any value in material things - I don’t get any enjoyment from buying things. I’m just very practical - my wife does call me cheap though :). I always just wanted to make as much money as I could so I didn’t have to live check to check or stress out...

Orchard Hills 4 - "The Summit" Updates

This has been our approach. We have a very low mortgage balance/payment. Make good money and live a pretty stress free lifestyle because we have never traded up our lifestyle. I still never buy any clothes that are not on sale, drive a 5 year old car, refuse to use DoorDash, etc.

Best and Worst Cities for Singles in 2025

lol - I’ve been used to being around white people since i was 18 at USC and my entire professional career so I’m entirely comfortable in that environment and went to Hermosa/manhattan plenty of times. I lived in Redondo in my 20s. But sometimes, you can’t beat a big bootied hispanic girl :-) and...

Best and Worst Cities for Singles in 2025

It probably depends on your ethnicity/culture. In the 2000s the southbay was primarily white - not sure what it is now but my guess is it’s mostly white. We generally went out to Hollywood since that area was more diverse.

    Toyota moving to Texas

Isn’t the whole south religious in general?? If you pick a city, I think any city is going to be considered religious. Perhaps not Christian but something else.

Hoka and ASICS shoes extra tight? (Shoe rant)

ASICS Kayano are my favorite sneakers. Been using them for forever. I am 6 ft tall with a size 12 - just to clarify that is shoe size :) I get them in the wide size and it makes suck a difference in the comfort level. I would highly recommend the Kayano.

Life Time Fitness in Irvine, California

I have sex 5-6 times a week for cardio. 30-40 minutes sessions of just fast movements. This is the number one preventative for cardiovascular disease :)

    Marble

We gave a review at Craft in Anaheim for a free appetizer. Craft is good overall though. A decent amount of restaurants do this. Craft is the only one I wrote a review for though.

I thought kalbi social club is better. My wife thought the same thing as well. She thought some dishes were better at Baekjong and others at Kalbi Social club.

    Marble

We went to marble a couple of times when it was a steakhouse/KBBQ place. It was good. You could order the steakhouse menu on the kbbq side which was good because I have one picky eater so we could order pasta from the menu. Obviously you couldn’t order kbbq on the other side. We went to kalbi...
