Olivewood at Portola Springs by New Home Co.

Supposedly, they give you a week or so after reservation to decide whether or not to go through with the purchase. We don't know how soon after the reservation the initial buyer backed out. It's possible that the initial buyer backed out before having to forfeit the deposit.
 
Imagine going on an arranged marriage meeting in your late 20s, and the parents of the daugther gives you 2 hours to decide whether you will marry her or not. :ROFLMAO:

The previous poor guy forfeited 75k or 150k, when he decided to end the engagement and run for the hills.

married for almost 30 years and I chose well but had more than 2 hrs to explore for skeletons in the closet. Funny thing is my wife and prior GF were both in long term relationships when I met them - the good ones are always taken!

The Story of the Beauty and the Panda

Thanks for sharing that you've married for 30 years. I am coming up on my 19th anniversary this month with Ms. Panda. Ms Panda went to middle school and high school in Irvine and she was 21 years old when I first met her. She was very beautiful and smart academically (STEM brain).

Many of my fond memories of dating her were in Orange County and romantic walks at Corona del Mar beach. When I was 27 years old, I was 30 lbs over weight, really shy, and lacked a lot of confidence in myself. You can that Panda looked very unattractive back then.

She decided to look beyond my physical appearance and look at what was inside my heart and gave me a chance. Ms. Panda was my first girl friend and we tied the knot one year later.

Good job Panda - you used your EQ to win the beauty. EQ took me a long time to develop and my wife has been very patient witn me this whole time. Winning her hand in marriage is my life's greatest accomplishment.

Not an apt comparison.

The model homes are already available, so you would already know her inner beauty. A more apt comparison would be you were introduced by friends, go on several dates and got married.

The above scenario, however, does describe Toll Brothers' The Meadows perfectly. The Meadows had their grand opening back in Oct/Nov 2021, when they opened up their priority list. They started selling almost immediately. The problem? The model homes would not be available until around June 2022. So yeah, all the information you had on the homes were computer drawn pictures of the exterior and floorplans. Not even CGI models.
