The Quiet Fight to Keep Legacy Admissions

The more years that pass by, the more legacies that will accumulate. Harvard accepts around 2000 each year (1850-1900 will enroll), yet around 40% (800) of those spots are reserved for legacies. In reality, there are only about 1200 spots to compete for each year. As the years go by, how will that 40% figure move? A solution is unclear.
