Just an update....
I went to QHCM and talked to the coordinator there.
He listened to what happened and addressed my concerns very seriously.
He told me that particular class is not lead by city of Irvine but by contractors.
We ended up working on a injury report as well as a incident report...
I can pull him out. We have to talk to them.
Just because we signed the liability doesn't mean i can overlook this. My son got hurt badily and teachers don't care either... maybe because of the liability form they think they can be irresponsible and parents can't do anything about it. My son got...
Just playing.
Everyone was just playing. The kids finish their paper work and the teachers were getting ready to go on to the next activity. She said it happened within like 2 minutes that they weren't watching the kids.
Also, the teacher was saying thah the kid is usually nice and never had these issues..... she keeps defending the kid that did wrong and isn't feeling any compassion for us.... I don't even think she said sorry to us now that I think about it....
Don't think this is normal......
I can't work with teachers like this.... she said my son didn't cry or say anything... and also the other kids usually say like so and so is bothering someone if this kind of thing happens. Basically she doesn't trust my son.....
She doesn't want to get in trouble that's probably why she is...
Thanks for your story Momopi.
Yeah I know what you mean.... I won't be here forever to help him out... I will pull him out of the class. It's disappointing because I thought it was a good class....
Praying that all our children will meet only good students and good teachers.
Thank you everyone...
Oh and by the way, the teacher told me that the teachers can't be in the middle or facilitate our meeting on Friday. Only the parents can talk it out.... which is bull if you ask me....
Thanks Someguy.
I'm not trying to get anyone in trouble but the way they handled it was not acceptable and professional at all.
This is a city run institution and I expected more from them... especially in Irvine, a city that's suppose to be super friendly for kids and families.
I know kids...
My first grader started Kumon because I felt he was getting confused because of all the different strategies to solve one problem they teach with common core.
At Kumon they are just taught how to solve the problems like before common core. Just simple get to the answer strategies.
But at...
