This house is back on the market. Supposedly the people who were going to buy it came in with a "cash" offer but then were rejected by the bank when they had to get financing. Surely someone in Laguna knows more about this property. Anyone?

I just emailed the agent on this property and she said, "It is over, done & sold, thanks." I emailed her back to ask what it sold for but haven't heard a reply. Does anyone know?

I thought a lender might balk at giving a loan on it because of its location. (landslide prone) Any lenders out there want to chime in?

Does anyone know anything about 1825 Port Wheeler in CDM? I saw it mentioned on OC Register that it sold at a trustee sale for $705k. Can anyone confirm this?

Do you guys have a realtor send you a list of homes that will be going to trustee / probate auction or do you use a certain website?

Graphix - Exactly! It is amazing to me how anyone can think they are getting a good deal when purchasing a $500k "sh*t box" that sold for <$200k less than a decade ago. What a waste of financial resources! My wife and I rent a single family cottage in CDM for just a little over $2k per month...
