Is it necessary to do a new home inspection?(2010 Woodbury New Home)

So I went ahead to get the inspection done. I think it is worth it. The inspection found about 10 items. Now I have to talk with the builder. Hopefully it won't be hard to persuade them to fix it

For USC, I saw this recommendation from IHB  http://www.irvinehousingblog.com/forums/viewthread/2960/ We were pretty pleased with Dave. If you are concerned about mold, he is especially knowledgeable. He was referred to me by my stylist and my agent liked him so well that she replaced her...

Is it necessary to do a new home inspection?(2010 Woodbury New Home)

We bought a new house in Woodbury. The escrow will close next week. I was wondering if it is worth to do a home inspection at this moment. Any ideas, new home buyers?

    My impressions of 2010 collection

Also, It is easier for kids to walk to the elementary school from Montecito than Santa Cruz. They don't need to cross the busy Shady Canyon street.  That is one reason we prefer woodbury over woodbury east.

$10000 tax credit from May 1

The bill says that The tax credit may not reduce regular tax below TMT. I guess that means a lot of people can't get the full 10k due to AMT triggered by $3333/year credit

    Low Income Housing in Irvine

Low income housing definitely has a big negative impact on the community. Otherwise, why people pay $800k to buy in Irvine in the first place? Just to get away from shabby neighbors. From the news, I heard that new community in Irvine is required to have 15% low income housing. That is the...
