A $3k - $5k budget makes sense on that size space, I guess I was over estimate the lot size.  In that size space I would certainly add in some pottery with planting to add some vertical interest in a space of that size, maybe even a portable firepit or a small water feature.

abcd1234,  You're very welcome, happy to help.  Just an FYI, demo of existing hardscape should cost about $1.50/sf , large trees might be $500 - $1,000 each.  The dump charges are actually fairly expensive and is a large part of demo costs.
