Small lot SFR versus large lot detached condo

stonegate detached condos only have 1 hoa as well, $110 as far as your original question, one thing against a condo... when getting a refi, a condo (detached or not) will get a 1/8 or 1/4 pt. hit.

    cash out refi

Question for all the brokers/loan agents on this board... I'm looking to do a cashout refi... now before anyone gets all crazy about me being not responsible... let me tell you my situation. I bought a San Mateo home in 2011 and I put down 30%.  Fast forward to 2014 and the last phase of the...

Going with third party contractors in new homes (Irvine pacific ).

I agree with IC, the design center is way expensive, just find a good 3rd party contractor and if you really want I heard, not sure from who, but if you hire the same plumbers as the builder's to remove the toilet and have them put it back after the flooring is in the warranty is still valid.

Going with third party contractors in new homes (Irvine pacific ).

I have a IPac home,  and I was told that i would void my warranty as well. but that was not the case when i "messed up the plumbing with third party contractors".  I went with a third party flooring people for my flooring, regular and bathrooms, and when they were done the place was a mess.  So...

    hairline cracks in stucco

thanks all for your comments... here's another question... do you think having more cracks in the stucco means the foundation "isn't as good" as your neighbors house?  i don't see "as many" cracks on my neighbors' walls.  and yes, maybe i'm picky but like qwerty says... they bug me.  as for...

    hairline cracks in stucco

so i've lived in my new home for 2.5 years now and i'm starting to see hairline cracks to the stucco on the exterior... they are straight (not diagonal) and don't look too bad but i don't know if it's one of those things that gets bigger if you don't fix them early.  there was 1 hairline crack...

    Irvine's 5th High School

Although it will be a very long time before my kids go to HS... I was thinking I like site A better because... 1) From what I can remember, on another thread, the tce plume is right underneath the proposed site B? 2) site B is closer to the 133 and the 5 (air pollutants). 3) (this wasn't...

    which house would you pick?

they are currently renting an apartment.  i don't know if they have a preference in schools, just that's it's good.  they both work in irvine but can't afford irvine or at least not at the sq. ft. house (not attached) for what they can afford... i threw in the 675k house cause they can "qualify"...

    which house would you pick?

Wow, great observations/input NSR... they are renting right now in Aliso, they want to buy cause his wife is going back to work after being a stay at home mom for 2+ years.  Older one starts school next fall.  Based my experience trying to buy in Aliso... there's limited supply and I told them...

Would you spend money to sell your house?

    1) fix (anything broken) 2) paint (neutral up to date colors) 3) clean/de-clutter 4) stage that's all i'd do.. no upgrades or remodels.

PermaBears from the IHB: Where is the 40% drop?

these were their primary residences....  just saying not all realtors know how to spot a bubble, just cause they push the smack doesn't mean they don't consume it too.

    Cypress Village Homes

I have a cousin in woodbury and another who lives in ps, i live in sg... and i visit them often.  i have to agree with commuter.  On the hottest days in the summer, Portola Springs "feels hotter".  Also, again nothing scientific just anecdotal, but it's also windier, which makes up for the extra...
