Not sure on how well a wireless doorbell would work that far away from the house but they aren't that expensive.  If you could get a doorbell wired out to the gate there is some new interesting Tech.  Ring Wi-Fi Doorbell,  SkyBell, both have cameras.        I haven't used either so...
