North Tustin - The Estates Collection

I saw an advertisement in the OC Register for a project called "The Estates Collection" in North Tustin near Red Hill and Skyline Drive. There are a total of 4 homes. Plan 1 - 4,045 Square Feet - 10,292 Square Feet Lot - $1,395,000.00 Plan 2 - 4,045 Square Feet - 10,293 Square...

Willowick Greens - Santa Ana New Homes

So lets say they end up selling a few of these houses, but the bulk of them remain unsold. The bank comes in and takes back the project from the developer... What happens to the home owners that decided to purchase? Will their warranties be voided? What about mortgages when homeowners find...

Willowick Greens - Santa Ana New Homes

I saw an advertisement in the OC Register for the grand opening of 17 new luxury homes in Santa Ana. I decided to go and take a look. They do indeed have 17 new houses in various stages of construction. There are three models: Plan 1 - 3,372 Square Feet Plan 2 - 3,515 Square Feet...

    Woodbury - Villa Rosa

I purchased my Villa Rosa plan 3 in November of 2006 for 1.14m. Lennar was asking 1.28m for the plan 3 when I submitted my offer. It is nice to know that the asking price has not moved much since that time. Anyone know if they are firm on those prices?

The Retreat - Santa Ana New Homes

My bad for posting here. I did not know that I would have been labeled a "troll". Whatever that means. I noticed that nobody commented on the issue regarding mello-roos taxes in Irvine. It would seem that everyone here thinks an extra $600.00 or more per month is worth it to have that...

The Retreat - Santa Ana New Homes

Thank you everyone for the feedback! My first intention was to purchase another place in Irvine. I nearly purchased the model at Lantana (Columbus Grove) and also at Manzanita in Portola Springs. Both had some things I liked and disliked, but most importantly both include mello-roos taxes...

The Retreat - Santa Ana New Homes

I am in the process of purchasing a house at the Shea Homes "The Retreat" project. I am a single guy with no children and plan on living in this home. I currently own a new house I purchased in Irvine in Woodbury. I purchased a Lennar home in the "Villa Rosa" project that I plan on renting out...
