Newer Irvine listings with crazy WTF asking prices from equity sellers

Condos owners are a step above renters but tainted by osmosis as most condo communities have high percentages of renters

Newer Irvine listings with crazy WTF asking prices from equity sellers

YMMV isn’t familiar with coastal California culture - no one wants to live next to renters. I witnessed this actually much worse in the Bay Area. Our street in LN had a few at the end of the cul de sac that rented from original owners, now just 2 left as we’ve had a string of sales over the past...

Newer Irvine listings with crazy WTF asking prices from equity sellers

OC RE is all about appreciation - new purchases will never cash flow though a buddy with a house in the Port Streets he bought after GFC for a good price and remodeled told me he can get at least $10K/mo, which would be great cash flow relative to his mortgage payment . I just wonder how...

I took Gold and Silver positions in my wife’s 403b rollover last year - Silver up 120% is crazy

    ICE or EV?

It took decades for these cars to become valuable and lots of Fed rate repression . My high school buddy sure wishes he had kept his 69 Firebird for 40 years.

    Retail Openings and Closures

I left out Flamingos - great booths in the TV/bar area for a game. Also great Argentine/Italian spot Villa Roma in the same strip mall.

Franco’s Famous or El Cortez for crispy tacos. El C reminds me of the now closed Ranchero in Pasadena I grew up on - we called it the Dirty Cantina

    Toyota moving to Texas

If you want to see an interesting debate about the proposed wealth tax follow San Jose Mayor Matt Mahan on X. He is pillorying the tax and his local rival Ro Khanna. He lives in our old neighborhood and when I met him and commented how he was the only Dem I would ever vote for he told me “I am...

Yes, South facing is a deal breaker for Indian or most Chinese. I remember living in New England and being jealous of my across the street neighbor for his South facing driveway which thawed when mine didn’t

Ackman acknowledges the likely end result - raising the sales tax which will soak the middle class.
