Another disadvantage with 3-story is all the stairs and hallways are included in the sq ft living space. So you will feel smaller than 2-story even they have the same sq ft. But 3-story is the future trend for urban living. Just like we don't see new ranch home being built anymore.
Not sure when Elevate started selling. If I look at the site map, the lots already sold have better location. In the past 4 weeks, only one went into pending. That is why I said it has been slow. But being in Irvine and TB, they will surely be sold.
Elevate has IUSD with 3-story. Sequoia has SVUSD with 2-story. 2 major differences. Elevate has been selling slow. Very few people want to pay 3M for 3-story. The overall market being slow can be another factor.

All Carina plans 1,2,3 are amazing! Plan 2 is the most popular because of its high ceiling. They are hard to get despite being zoned to the Saddleback School District. It only has 43 homes in total.
This home looks like a typical Detached Condo to me. But it is being listed as SFH. The garage is in the back with NO driveway. Did I miss something here? It can be seen as Detached Condo owning your own lot, but SFH?
