I'm really surprised that 6 Tahoe in Irvine sold for $645,000 on 8/21/08. It was a dump and needed a total remodel when I saw the listing (we use to live at 10 Tahoe). Talk about WTF prices! I believe the house was in foreclosure so maybe that's the sale listed on 5/14/08 for $524,000.

I read $625,000 as of January 1, because of economic and housing recovery legislation passed in Congress this summer.
