    Tesla Solar Panels Price Cut

All depends on your energy needs.  I signed up even before Tesla started dropping their price, however, the price Altair is giving me is quite less than Tesla's Medium size package, which was closest to my needs.  Just keep in mind the type of solar panels you would be getting.  Altair is...

    Tesla Solar Panels Price Cut

Referral link is below.  I am in process of installing solar with Altair Solar via EnergySage.  They are based locally in Irvine, which is a positive as response times and on-site meetings are good.  I originally went with a company called Solar Optimum which was a big mistake.  I was misled by...

Anybody experience the "new" pool patrol in Portola Springs?

The 3 were all wearing green or black polo shirts with something related to "Complimentary Patrol Services" (or similar) labeled on their backs.  I looked up the rules for the association and found this regarding inflatables - gives me more reason to think one patrol woman in particular was...

Anybody experience the "new" pool patrol in Portola Springs?

Also note to all Portola residences my post on another topic. Looks like there's an overly comfortable/aggressive coyote around Arrowhead:http://www.talkirvine.com/index.php/topic,11811.msg265159.html#msg265159

Anybody experience the "new" pool patrol in Portola Springs?

hmmm...  Perhaps.  This was at Valley Vista Park off Arrowhead.  Quite remote, with only one other family on the other side of the pool having BBQ as well.  More than enough space for both of our gatherings.  Just a normal family gathering, no one being obnoxious or loud.

    Father's Day

Was this in Portola Springs near Sage2/Valley Vista Park - off Arrowhead?  If so, I saw the same coyote.  It came 10-15 ft from me while I was playing basketball.  I warned a jogger about the coyote.  10 min later, I saw the same jogger running back to where I was at, with the coyote right on...

Anybody experience the "new" pool patrol in Portola Springs?

Tried enjoying a Father's day gathering at a community pool here @ Portola Springs and ran into the pool patrol goddess.  Apparently no inflatables/toys are allowed for your young ones -  which seems ridiculous to me, especially hearing for the first time since 2012 that its in the HOA...

    Paver contractor?

ah, I think I know what you guys are talking about now.  The pic I provided before looks misleading.  There's definitely clearance between the pavers and 'weep screed' you guys are referring to.  I'm guessing its between 3-4" clearance as shown attached.

    Paver contractor?

woodburyowner, yes, the pavers go directly to the wall.  For drainage, gopavers installed their custom drains that basically blend in with the paver install.  If you look closer at the pic that I provided, you'll see what I'm talking about.  It's the circular drain near the center of the pic. ...

    Paver contractor?

Cost was $600.  If you have the time and any CAD programs you can definitely do yourself.  We didn't want to deal with my HOA (keystone pacific) or have to resubmit because of format errors so we went ahead and hired him.  Cost most likely differs depending on HOA.

    Paver contractor?

Gopavers came up with the majority of the design. However, since the HOA requires the plans to be submitted in a specific layout, I had to go with an architect to transfer the ideas on paper for me to submit.  This was all done separate from the cost gopavers charged me. This was a good thing...

    Paver contractor?

The price per sqft ranged between $9-10 since I also did the driveway (for sure was 9 per sqft).  The price included routing/digging the sprinklers, rerouted/added to the existing drainage the builder provided, and routed the electrical wires for lights.  If you look closely at the pic i posted...
