If you are using 30% or darker tint, Stratos does not make that much of a difference in real life. Both Pinnacle and Stratos feel pretty "cool" when the tint is 30% or darker. However if you like to use lighter tint (40%, 50% etc), or something like 70% tint for windshield, Stratos does...

You are right about TIC's preference to proven businesses and also bigger franchise businesses.    Years ago when I try to rent a retail space from TIC, the first thing they ask is my company name.  After given them the name of my barely 2 month old LLC, never heard back from them.

I?ve been using Tint Plus for years and very satisfied with their work.  They use Llumar and both of its ceramic tint, Pinnacle & Stratos series, are excellent.  I had Stratos on wife?s X5 and Pinnacle on my M3 and GT4, very happy with both of them.
