Well as an update... he didn't pay his taxes this month, either. Lo and behold, I can now see 2 things with his name on the grantor/grantee search - "ASGT TRUST DEED GRANTOR & GRANTEE " and "NOTICE DEFAULT GRANTOR ".... Looks like I need to begin to make some calls. Crap.

^ Yikes! What is with all the brick flooring? You can definitely see how it still shows its roots of being originally built as an apartment complex. Seems like they just enclosed some areas and said "ok, cool, more sqft!". It looks awkward to me. The place is just plain ugly!

Just wanted to say thank you to everyone for their advice - I grilled up two large tri tips and people loved 'em! I will have to post up a couple of pics later. 'Twas delicious.

So does that mean I can borrow your slicer this weekend??? I think I will go with the untrimmed version of the meat, and maybe get a couple of tri-tips so I can maybe make one with a marinade and the other with a dry rub. We shall see.... If it turns out decent, I will have to post pics a la...
