It's called the Asus Transformer Infinity TF700T.  I also wanted a tablet with a microsd slot.  The TF700T comes in 32gb or 64gb.  I chose the 32gb and got a 32gb class 10 microsd card.  I'll report back in a few weeks after our road trip.

That unboxing clip of the Nexus 7 is funny.  Apple spends so much time/money on their box design to give customers a great unboxing experience.  I guess Google didn't do the same with the Nexus 7.

It'll be interesting to see how it does against the Nexus 7.  Doesn't make sense that 2 more iPad models are coming out.  Maybe a smaller 7" form factor, but another 10"?  That wouldn't be jiving with their one model per year history.  The Galaxy Note is a monster of a phone.  Someone at work...

No expandable memory is probably the biggest complaint right now about the Nexus 7.  With the 8GB version, only about 5.9GB is available after accounting for the OS and installed apps. As for the large bezel, my thought is that it was designed that way so people have something to hold onto...

You did the right and diplomat thing, Baby Irvine.  Having the builder put the string for the boundary and having the HOA come out to look at it was right.  Hopefully you took a picture of where the string was before you removed it and documented everything that's happened so you can refer to it...

You'll probably be fined until you do what they demand or it goes to litigation.  If you don't pay your fines, the HOA can foreclose on your home to get the cost of the fine.  At least I think that's what can happen.

How much is the DOCSIS 3.0 modem and will they take it back if I find that it doesn't up my speed?  I'm on the preferred plan (18mbps) with the blue DOCSIS 2.0 modem.  If going to the D3 will get me better speeds, I'm going out to one of the Cox stores to get one.
