thank you for replying!  the price on sale seems good at $27 /sq ft.  however, a flooring rep from another company (also highly recommended here) told me Royalty makes low end carpet.  I was not sure if that is true.  good to know that yours is good after 1.5 years.  What color did you pick? 

We need to replace carpet in the house and visited Tompkins Flooring recommended here.  They recommended a carpet with style Boogie from Royalty (local Irvine company?).  According to them it is carpet typically priced at 34/sq yd, but on sale for $27 now. Anyone used that carpet and how is it?
