AT&T Cell service in PS and GP?

We recently purchased a home in PS and noticed the same problem with AT&T.  I've been with them for 15+ yrs now with a 21% discount from my employer on an unlimited data family plan.  They've always treated me great, but if the dead zones and drop calls persist for another month, I'm afraid...

    Solar mandate

Unfortunately, it was not an option.

    Solar mandate

Hi guys.  Woodburyowner hit it on the dot.  When we signed papers with KB sales office back in June, I don't remember if KB said it was mandatory for our phase or mandatory because of the solar mandate law.  I was the one who assumed it was for the solar mandate law not realizing that the law...

    Solar mandate

Here's the final update.  My mandatory solar had nothing to do with CCR title 24, which was what I was told by Sunpower.  The builder sales office finally clarified that it was a top management decision to make it mandatory for my building phase.  It had nothing to do with any law or solar...

    Solar mandate

Here's an update.  From what I was told today, my "mandatory" solar is because of the CCR (California Code Regulations) title 24 for 2016, which took effect on Jan 1, 2017.  The requirement was for new constructions to be 30% more efficient and KB decided to use solar to meet this efficiency...

FCB that's a better deal than I'm getting. ;) When is your home scheduled to be complete?  Is it in 2019 ro 2020?

    Solar mandate

It's not a question of if I'm getting a good deal or not.  I already knew I was never going to get a good deal from the builder.  The problem is they are forcing me to either lease or buy this upgrade.  Can they do that if the solar mandate doesn't take into effect until Jan 1, 2020?  BTW, I...

    Solar mandate

    I don't think it's a great deal... 4kW for $21K - 30% federal credit = $15k

    Solar mandate

We signed papers for a home in PS in June of this year and were told we had to select either leasing or buying our solar options.  We decided to buy instead of lease because we thought the solar mandate was for 2019.  When we had our solar consultation yesterday, I realized that the solar...

Buying a New House Before Selling the Old One

Congratulations Park.  I'm glad it worked out for you guys.  And congratulations on your new home! So I spoke to the bank today and I want to make sure I understand the finances associated with recasting.  For example, if the home is $1 mil and I put down 20% or $200K and then I sell my current...

Buying a New House Before Selling the Old One

Thanks 9K.  I didn't even think about refi.  I'll start exploring this option too. Thanks potsticker.  Had never heard of recast, but looks like a great option.  It's almost like refinancing but without all the fees?  I like it especially if I can lock in at a low rate. And thank you soylent...

Buying a New House Before Selling the Old One

Thanks everyone for your replies.  I'm really conservative with my finances.  I do have 20% to put down.  I was hoping to use the 30% in our equity so our mortgage would only be 50%.  We're trading up, so even with all of this my mortgage would increase by quite a bit.

Buying a New House Before Selling the Old One

Hi guys, This is my first post.  I've been following the forum for quite some time now and you guys seem to always provide a lot of useful information. I thought I would ask for some tips or advice. I am looking at a new construction in Irvine, but need to sell my current home first to use the...
