Got this rate on 9/2 before the updated the language. They wanted to hit me with .5% loan fee due to amount being over $510k and not under 50% LTV. Got owning to match interactive no costs for the same rate.
Besides Owning, who else has the lowest advertised no closing cost refi loans? I just started the process with Owning but figure I shop around another option in case they try to throw in additional costs/fees.
Just spoke with owning. I guess you need like 50% LTV in order to avoid any closing costs (kinda false advertisement). I am currently at 73% LTV and they're requiring a .5% loan fee. Any recs on where I can get a true no cost closing with it the fees being baked in?
Undecided if I should refi now or wait another month or so. I am currently at 3.25% and 2.5% would save me a couple of hundred month. However, I am thinking rates might dip even lower in the next couple of months. What would you do if you're in my situation?
IR2 (not sure if IR is on this site), Thanks for the info. Do you think 15% on a $350k SS property would yield better results or is 20% the only way to go?
I'm not in a hurry to purchase but this is the year that I think I am considering to purchase. Are SS still worth a try? I think I have given up on Irvine. It doesn't make sure financially to buy there. I am thinking of going the FHA because I would like to have cash on hand to invest.
I've been reading IHB for awhile and am missing the vast info on there. Anyway we can have some stickies on RE short sales and foreclosures?
On to my question, are we able to view short sale properties?
