Just wanted to revive this thread as I'm looking for potential caterers for a birthday party too... Zerolot, how did everything work out for you?  Anyone else have any other vendors they've used and liked?  I will be hosting a mid-morning party so was considering a mix of brunch-type items...

Love the discussion. In terms of functionality a minivan wins hands down, but I can't bring myself to drive one yet.. Maybe if we ever have a third kid. ;) Hadn't considered a wagon--good idea actually.  I figured the Prius would be too small, but I have actually seen a few of them lately...

We are expecting baby #2 and are in the market for a new/used car... Any suggestions?  We already have a full size SUV... Am thinking of a smaller SUV or roomier sedan.  Anyone have experience with Audi Q5 or BMW X3?  Something with better gas mileage would be a plus... Our SUV is a guzzler!

Not sure if this has been updated elsewhere, but I did see at least one Woodbury home (San Marino, I believe) that hasa what appears to be a 3 car garage!!  Not tandem--there is the single car garage on the left of the front door and double garage on the left... IHO, this is for you!

Does anyone have recommendations for infant care near woodbury?  We wold prefer drop off/pick-up and have checked the list on the Irvine city website, but most places have wait lists already! Thanks in advance.

did they say what the timing will be for these?  i thought i heard the next wave of homes in that area would be built by irvine pacific...?

here are my observations from living on two different sides of woodbury over the last few years: - streets with condos/townhomes feel slightly crowded due to a lot of cars being parked on the streets - streets with majority SFH do not feel crowded to me, and i don't even see that many people...

i agree a lot of the chatter has died down due to less activity in the NHC... it would be great to hear from those that have moved in already and see how they're finding the new homes/communities.

wow, that's amazing that they keep lowering prices for you!  we've never experienced that at the design center before...  granted, i actually don't feel like they are pushing us to spend more either, so that's a nice thing.
